The Tonkinese cat is a beautiful cat with a broad range of colours, offset by slightly darker points and very distinctive aquamarine eyes. We are constantly updating this site with new information and photos, so please come back often.

Let me introduce ourselves, our names are Loris & Allan Kerslake, we run a Breeding/ Boarding Cattery, LORAL TONKINESE, on the Qld, Sunshine Coast, Hinterland, just outside the small town of Kenilworth.

In 1990 we decided to breed a litter of Tonkinese to replace our aging Tonkinese, Dara, she was approaching fifteen and we had a Seal Point Siamese queen... sixteen years later and a household of over thirty Tonkinese, we are producing some of Australia's finest Champion, Pedigree Tonkinese Angels dressed in mink coats of course!

At LORAL TONKINESE we breed most of the colours; Brown (Natural), Chocolate (Champagne), Blue and Red, in Minks, Tabbies, Torties and Torbies.
