It is with regret that I have had to make the very difficult decision to cancel this years show. There were several contributing factors which led to this decision and those of you who know me know that I would only stage the show if I was confident it would be a success. I would never consider putting on half a show. I know there are many of you who are very disappointed at my decision but I will be back next year and we will endeavour to put on the biggest show we have ever had. I'll be needing your help and involvement for that challenge.

It is now time to issue the first round of invitations to Teddy Bear Artists,Teddy Bear Makers and associated Suppliers and Makers of Teddy Bear Goods. Traders who have participated in previous years will receive an invitation to participate in the next week.The second round of invitations to participate will be sent on 30th April,2000. Trading tables and space start at $85.00.This is a great opportunity to show and sell your bears and goods .

If you would like an invitation to participate please contact me and I will put you on the mailing list. All competition entry forms will go out this month - that gives you plenty of time to get your bears made. A competition entry form will soon be available on this website - look out for it.

The 2000 Limited Edition There's A Bear In There Bear has been commissioned. Claire Newall of Claire Bears has designed a delightful little bear which is a must to have in your collection. Only 20 will be offered at $75 ea plus post if applicable. Orders being accepted now. Check him out in the limited edition section of the website. A limited number of the 1999 Show bear are still available. A great opportunity to collect this range of collector bears.

It is hoped that we will have workshops happening this year. I'll keep you posted.

Everything is now in readiness for the show. The trophies for the
competition are done and the banners go up this weekend.
Everyone is getting excited and I am sure there are lots of bears and bear
things being created out there in readiness for the show.
Unfortunately, the teddy bear workshops by American Bear Artist , Georgene
Palka, have been cancelled,due to ill health. The Design Workshop by Pat
Cavenett is still on and there are a few vacant spots should you wish to
join in.
